A famous personality: Jose "Pepe" Mujica



José Alberto Mujica Cordano born on May 20, 1934 in Montevideo. The "Pepe" was married in 2005 with Senator Topolansky Lucia.
His first vote was the Socialist Party and then in his youth he played with Enrique Erro, a grouping of the National Party. It is part of his life underground activity as a member of the National Liberation Movement-Tupamaros in the sixties and seventies. He leaves office on March 3, 2008 and returns to his Senate seat.
